One of our students has been performing a unique method of wordplay.
When we went through vocabulary cards, there is “弁当箱”.
She immediately and proudly said, “Food case”.
The correct answer is “Lunch Box”, however, She is also right in the sense of meaning.
At the end of the class, we sometimes play, “Go Fish”.
These cards have alphabet letters in the corner with different colors.
She got all reddish colors and said, “I have mostly red”.
As the game went on and she was losing her reds slowly and said “My red is fading”.
This kind of person is good at wordplay as a writer. She is amazingly unknowingly motivated. I strongly hope that she gets in the field as she grows.
